Daisy Mae Weichel

d. April 3, 2026

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, Samantha and Bo Weichel announce the passing of their beloved dog, Daisy Mae, at the age of 11½.

Known affectionately as “Niña Bonita”, Daisy Mae was the very definition of sweet. She was a loving companion, a loyal protector, and a constant source of joy. Whether she was greeting you with her signature happy wiggle, barking proudly at squirrels, or simply sitting close by, Daisy had a way of making every moment feel special.

Daisy Mae loved life’s simple pleasures: food (especially her beloved veggies), family time, car rides, trips to the park, and even visits to the vet. She never missed a chance to inspect grocery bags for her favorite treats and was always ready to beg, politely of course, for a carrot or anything green. Her goofy personality brought laughter daily, especially when she attempted to drag her entire dog bed through the doggie door just to sunbathe out on the deck.

In her younger years spending time outdoors, Daisy cherished her “sleepovers” inside the house, a privilege she embraced with pure happiness. No matter where she was, she simply wanted to be near her family.

Daisy Mae leaves behind a home forever changed by her love. She was more than a pet, she was family, a constant presence, and a steady source of comfort and protection.

In her final moments, Daisy remained exactly who she had always been - happy, peaceful, and surrounded by those she loved most. With her tail wagging all the way through her last breath, she reminded her family one last time of the joy and unconditional love she carried every day of her life.

Though her paws no longer walk beside us, her memories will live on in every quiet moment, every sunny afternoon, and every rustle of a grocery bag.

We love you Daisy Mae. You will always be our Niña Bonita.
