In Loving Memory of Hoss “Hoss Boss” Jolly Beloved Protector • Sunshine Soul • Momma’s Boy Forever
Hoss Boss Jolly, our precious lab/boxer mix, spent 11 beautiful years blessing this earth and the hearts of everyone lucky enough to love him. From the moment he came into our lives, Hoss shined with a gentle spirit, a humble heart, and a smile so sweet it could light up any room.
Hoss loved being snuggled close, wrapped in warm blankets, and feeling the sunshine on his fur during perfect warm days. One of his favorite adventures was going to get coffee with his momma—never letting a pup cup go to waste. He had a special way of leaning in with love, offering warmth, comfort, and protection to babies, animals, and especially his momma. Hoss didn’t just love—he taught love.
There was never a moment Hoss doubted who his person was. After a short time apart, the way he greeted his momma—smiling big, curling up at her feet, and giving those silly snarls of pure joy—showed the depth of his devotion. He always ran toward her with love, and each day he watched faithfully from the window, waiting for her to come home.
Though he once hated riding in the car, everything changed the day Daddy took him out in the bright orange Jeep. Hoss lit up, running window to window, nose high, ready to explore the world. From that ride forward, he was hooked. Coffee runs, quick store trips, hauling trash—if the Jeep door opened, Hoss was already sitting pretty, ready to go.
Hoss gave us joy, protection, laughter, and an unconditional love that can never be replaced. Though Heaven called him home sooner than our hearts were ready, we find peace knowing he is wrapped in soft blankets and enjoying endless pup cups among the angels. We promise to take care of Dexter and Bentley, just like you always watched over us.
Hoss, you were our sunshine, our comfort, our loyal protector. We will miss you every single day and love you even more with each passing moment. When our time comes, we’ll come running into Heaven to find you, sweet boy—just like you always ran to us.
Forever our Hoss Man.Forever in our hearts.
