The Goodest Girl, Beloved Family Member, and Dedicated Healthcare Employee

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Great Dane, Magic, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge, leaving behind a lifetime of unconditional love, unforgettable memories, and paw prints on countless hearts.

Magic was so much more than a dog. She was a daughter, a sister, a best friend, a protector, and a treasured member of our family.

Magic joined our family when Lizzie was just four months old. She had the privilege of growing up alongside Zoie, Braiden, and Lizzie, watching over them, loving them, and being part of every milestone, every adventure, and every chapter of their lives. She wasn’t just their dog; she was part of their childhood.

A Life of Service and Dedication

Magic was also a proud and dedicated employee of Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation, where she served as an unofficial therapy dog, professional smile maker, emotional support specialist, and full-time distributor of unconditional love.

Throughout her career, Magic brought comfort, companionship, and happiness to residents, staff, and everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

She never needed a paycheck, a promotion, or recognition. Her payment came in the form of belly rubs, treats, hugs, and the smiles she brought to others.

Magic took her job seriously, making sure everyone felt loved, even on their hardest days. Her gentle giant personality and enormous heart made her a favorite among those who knew her.

A Life Well Loved

Outside of her professional career, Magic enjoyed spending time with her family, making memories, going on adventures, receiving endless love, and reminding everyone that no matter how big she was, she would always be someone’s baby.

She had a way of making ordinary days extraordinary simply by being there.

Magic leaves behind her heartbroken family, including her three human siblings, Zoie, Braiden, and Lizzie, along with countless friends, coworkers, residents, and loved ones whose lives were brighter because of her.

She was preceded in death by none of the love she gave, because that love will continue living in every heart she touched.

Forever Our Girl

Although her paws no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever follow us.

The house will feel quieter. Her favorite spots will feel emptier. And life will never quite be the same without our beautiful girl.

Magic, thank you for growing up with our babies. Thank you for loving our family. Thank you for every memory, every laugh, every comforting moment, and every ounce of unconditional love.

You weren’t just a dog. You were our baby, our world, our everything.

Your shift here on Earth is officially over, sweet girl. You’ve earned your rest.

Rest easy, Magic. Your work here is done, but your love will live on forever. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug your pets a little tighter, give them an extra treat, and never take a single moment with them for granted.
